in
Moore, Byron.jpg

Question: I have some friends that I have had since high school, twenty years ago. Since then, some of us have made more money than others. I can tell it is starting to be an issue with one of my buddies. He is always commenting about some aspect of my money. What can I do to make this less of an issue?
Answer: Give him half your income.

Almost half of American workers report being “not too confident” or “not at all confident” about being able to afford a comfortable retirement, according to the Employee Benefit Research Institute’s 2013 Retirement Confidence Survey. The 28 percent who say they are “not at all” confident is the highest level recorded in the 23 years of this survey.

Meeting a ‘Duck Dynasty’ sidekick

It had to have been at least 20 years ago when attending a meeting of the Louisiana Tech Wildlife Club that I first met Phil Robertson who was guest speaker at the event.
As he talked about his up-and-coming duck call business, I recall him, sporting a full beard even then and telling the gathering that he had become such a part of nature that he didn’t even own a watch.
