Can ’Dogs figure in WAC race?

They’ll need to be, that’s for sure.
Tech (2-10) is on a four-game losing streak, during which time they’ve lost by an average differential of 17.5 points; the last two defeats have been to Southeastern Conference members, first to LSU by 16 and then that 30-point downer against the Razorbacks.
But with the WAC schedule starting this week, the ‘Dogs can start anew.
First up: a home game against San Jose State on Thursday beginning at 7 p.m.

Projects, peas overflow plates

Instead, on the first day of the new year, I ingested a taco salad with plenty of sour cream for lunch and followed that with some corn dogs and french fries for dinner.
A shame, I know, and so not the way to start a new year. But, it’s OK, because I feel good about 2007, and for a lot of reasons.
I really feel that this is going to be a huge year for Grambling, both the city and the university as they continue to try to maintain separate identifies yet work together for the good of both.

Ford remains leave Capitol for final time

Funeral services were held in the cathedral for former presidents Eisenhower in 1969 and Reagan in 2004, and ex-President Wilson is buried there.
At the service, Ford received tributes from President Bush, who designated today as a national day of mourning, along with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, the first President Bush and NBC newsman Tom Brokaw.
Two of Ford’s children participated in the service, with Jack Ford reading from the Prophet Isaiah and Susan Ford Bales reading from the Book of James.
