Tech has bowl-heavy slate

They will also help highlight the debut season of Derek Dooley as the Bulldogs’ new head coach.
“It’s always exciting when the new schedule is released,” he said. “However, our focus right now is on improving each day as a team. We are concentrating on our off-season program and preparing for spring practice because that is more important right now than who we play in six months.”
In a rare twist from previous schedules, Tech will play its first two games at home, the opener being Sept. 1 against the University of Central Arkansas and then a Sept. 8 battle against league foe Hawaii.

I found Bankston brilliant

Bankston said in his view possessing this “skill” will aid anyone starting a career in a professional environment.

Turning to “personal reflection,” Bankston responded to the following:

Test time draws near

Secondly, the implementation of iLEAP means students have a little extra preparation for the LEAP, since the iLEAP is similar to the high-stakes test.
Fourth and eighth graders must pass the LEAP to be promoted to the next grade level, and high school students must pass the GEE in order to graduate. LEAP, GEE and iLEAP exams for the 2006-07 year begin March 19. That’s just a little more than a week away. Now is the time for students to be focusing on any problem areas, seeking parental help or tutors when necessary.
