Wobbleheads create attention

The curved metal body of the Wobblehead gives the lure its name; it wobbles side to side and gives the plastic worm tail an enticing swimming motion which resembles a favorite food for a foraging bass, a small swimming snake. Remember the last time you saw a snake swimming across the water? That’s the exact image you get when you reel in a Wobblehead.

GSU, town should find compromise

On the one hand, town officials believe they have been slighted by those in charge at Grambling State University. They argue GSU leaders have failed to consult with them on building plans at the school. They also claim they are owed permit fees for some of those buildings. They say GSU president Horace Judson is intent on getting rid of everyone in his administration with a tie to the town.

CHS completes merger with Triad
