None hurt in blaze

Thick smoke filled the area around the complex as carpet, furniture and other materials burned up while GFD workers and groups of Lincoln Parish Fire District firefighters and volunteers battled the blaze at about 4:30 p.m. Workers cut holes in the roof of apartment 29 to ventilate smoke, which poured from the building. Americans live perfect lie

Of course, many of Hollywood’s biggest names have succumbed to the crushing pressure of maintaining a youthful appearance. Perhaps their careers depend on it; perhaps they refuse to get older. Matthews on a mission for GSU

To get those dozen yards on the ground, JSU had 32 carries. Do the math: Grambling State allowed just under three yards per carry.
And Matthews had plenty to do with it.
“Melvin played extremely well,” said coach Rod Broadway. “We need for him to have that type of game if we’re to be consistently successful on defense. He played very hard the entire day, and we hope to see more of that as the season goes on.”
Matthews and his defensive partners will get another chance at home Saturday when Grambling State (2-2) plays host to NAIA power Langston University (3-1) starting at 3 p.m.
