Funeral services for Vicky Boyd Mead, age 53, of Choudrant, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Longstraw Baptist Church in Choudrant. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Emory. Interment will follow at Longstraw Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA. Mrs. Mead was born May 11, 1957 and passed away January 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents: William C. Boyd and Frances Jennings Boyd; and sister-in-law: Pat Boyd. Mrs. Mead was a member of the Longstraw Baptist Church.
