Chamber passes out biz awards

Looking to honor those who have made an economic impact in the area, the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce named a local manufacturer, magazine publishing firm and veterinarian as its 2011 award winners.
Those winners were honored Thursday during the Chamber’s Annual Business Awards Breakfast at the Louisiana Tech Student Center. M.L. Smith Designs was named Business of the Year, The Team Advertising and Publishing was lauded as Small Business of the Year and veterinarian Trey Underwood was honored as Young Businessperson of the Year.
