Akin, Hoffman to wed

Chuck and Sandra Hoffman, of San Antonio, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Anna Kathryn Hoffman to Jacob Andrew Akin, also of San Antonio.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Estes and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoffman, both of Ruston.
Anna is a 2006 alumna of San Antonio Christian High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in psychology. She is currently at UTSA working on her master’s degree in school psychology. Anna is employed by lululemon athletica and Gold’s Gym.

Singh, Cole plan wedding

Dr. and Mrs. Randy Reppert Cole, of Winnfield, are pleased to announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Kendal Michelle, to Kevin Jaipaul Singh, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Spoonamore, of Centerville, Ind., and the late Jaipaul Singh.

The couple will be united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 4 at First Baptist Church in Winnfield.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Woodgate Read, of Ball, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Phillips Cole.

Henderson, Hopkins to marry on July 2

Daniel and Dorothy Hopkins, of Ruston, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Natasha Hopkins, of Pearland, Texas, to Brandon Henderson of Detroit, Mich.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Vera Hopkins and the late Greene Hopkins, of Ruston, and the late Ira and Janie Hudson of Cullen. Natasha is an alumna of Ruston High School, attended Grambling State University and received a certification in MIBC at NIT of Houston. She is employed at Maintenance Supply Headquarters of Stafford, Texas, as a credit representative.

Haymon, Carroll engaged

Jacob Daniel Haymon, of Pineville, and Millie Claire Carroll, of Ruston, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Carroll, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Savage, of Ruston, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Carroll.
Millie is a 2005 alumna of Ruston High School and a 2008 and 2010 alumna of Louisiana Tech University.
