Pauline (Polly) Wiggins

Mrs. Pauline (Polly) Wiggins, 68, of Hamburg, died Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Stonegate Villa Health & Rehabilitation Center in Crossett.  Mrs. Wiggins was a native of Pineville, Louisiana; a resident of Hamburg for the past 11 years and a former resident of Wilmot, Clinton Oklahoma and Ruston Louisiana for many years. She worked for Holiday Inn for over 25 years and she worked as a ward clerk at the Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, Louisiana. She won many awards from the Dale Carnegie courses that she took. She attended the First United Pentecostal Church in Crossett.

Choate, Reis marry May 27

Elise Noel Choate, of Arcadia, and Louis Gustave Reis IV were married at 6 p.m. May 27 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ruston.

Elise is the daughter of William and Nanette Choate, of Arcadia. She is the granddaughter of Willie Mae Whatley, of Arcadia, and the late Philemon J. Whatley and the late O.B. and Lottie Choate.

Louis is the son of Louis and Theresa Reis, of Ocoee, Fla. He is the grandson of Charles and Marie Tullier, of Baton Rouge, and the late Robert and Jerlene Reis.

Adams, Klein wed in evening ceremony

Margaret Ruth Adams, of Ruston, and Matthew Reed Klein, of Pittsburg, Pa., were married in a 6 p.m. ceremony at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel’s Crane Cottage Sunken Garden in Jekyll Island, Ga.

The honorable Chris O’Donnell officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Rhonda Jones, of Ruston, and the late Douglas Adams. She is the grand-daughter of Billie P. Adams, of Hodge, and the late William B. Adams Sr., Oleta S. Haile, of Ruston, and the late Samuel W. Haile Sr.

Cassels, Darden exchange vows

Jessica Darlene Cassels, of Columbia, and Dalton Slade Darden, of Columbia, were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony May 7 at Bethany Baptist Church in Columbia.

The ceremony was officiated by Rod Ship.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Anna Weatherford, of Columbia, and Kody Hawkes, of Lake Charles. She is the granddaughter of Harry and Joyce Cassels, of Columbia, and Shelia Bailey, of Iowa, La.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Franklin, of Columbia, and Mr. and Mrs. Deno Darden, of Columbia. He is the grandson of Ms. Gwen Brown and Mr. Roger Brown, both of Columbia.
