Walter H. Pipes

Walter H. Pipes died Saturday, June 4, 2011, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.  He was born May 20, 1921, near Downsville, LA and was residing at the War Veterans Home in Monroe, LA. Walter was a graduate of Choudrant High School, attended Louisiana Tech, and was a member of the Louisiana Tech Boxing Team.  On October 20, 1940 he entered the U. S. Marine Corp.  During World War II he served in the South Pacific as a Sergeant with the 8th Marines, Second Division.

Gallot bills deal with local city court, election codes
