Help provide for teachers

Sometimes teachers decide to supplement their lessons with crafts or unique study tools that require a great deal of extra paper.
Unfortunately, paper, like everything else, costs money. And, the Lincoln Parish School Board is faced with a limited budget, just like many other entities.

How to keep your resolutions

I have often heard people start this week naming their list of things to do, or their resolutions for the New Year. The biggest downfall is they do just that. The “top of the list method” we all use at some point during the day. You tell yourself to “remind yourself” to mail a letter or stop by the bank. The next morning you end up having to resort to Plan B, as the mail didn’t get mailed or the deposit didn’t get to the bank.

Kyle David Richardson

A Celebration of Life will be held for Kyle David Richardson, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Methodist Church Burkhalter Chapel. Kyle lived and worked in Atlanta, Ga. when he went to be with the Lord December 4, 2012, and he was the son of Mary Richardson and the late Joe Richardson. Thank you God for sharing Kyle with us and now we take comfort in knowing he is home with You.
