Church offers 15-week class

On Sept. 10, The Bridge Community Church hosted its first Perspectives class. The Perspectives class is a 15-week class designed to change attendees’ perspective on the world.
“When I took the course with my husband, Shaun, it opened up our hearts to God’s love for his people. We had a chance to see God’s works from Genesis all the way to Revelations. This class is for all Christ followers, not just people who plan to be missionaries,” said Melinda McIntire.

Local business leaders are concerned about the changes slated to hit the city if the new City of Ruston Zoning Ordinances, developed as a part of the Ruston 21 plan, are approved at the 5:30 p.m. meeting of the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday night.
