Notice is given that DAVID G. JOHNSON, Administrator in the
above numbered and captioned matter, has filed a petition for
authority to pay estate debts of the succession in accordance with
a tableau of distribution filed in these proceedings. The petition
can be homologated after the expiration of seven (7) days from
the date of the publication of this notice. Any opposition to the
petition must be filed prior to its homologation with the Lincoln
Parish Clerk of Court, Third Judicial District, Louisiana.

Barr, Allement unite in holy matrimony

Emily Dean Barr, of Choudrant, and Jared Paul Allement, of Port Allen, were united in holy matrimony in a 3 p.m. ceremony Nov. 30, 2013 at the Cypress Bend Resort on Toledo Bend.
The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Calvin Phelps.

The bride is the daughter of Tommy and Kathy Barr, of Choudrant. She is the granddaughter of the late D.E. and Alma Barr and the late Jake and Dot LeGuin.

The groom is the son of Stephen and Gisele Allement, of Port Allen. He is the grandson of George and EmmaLee Lebebvre, of Port Allen, and the late Roy and Mary Ann Allement.

Poseys celebrate 60 years

Gene H. Posey and Juanita Holstead Posey, of Choudrant, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 2-4 p.m. March 23 in the Alabama Presbyterian Church Family Life Center in Choudrant. The couple was married on March 18, 1954.
The Poseys have three children: Ronny (and wife Peggy) Posey, Debbie (and husband Mark) Chandler and Jeff (and wife Beverly) Posey; six grandchildren: Brandon (and wife Anna) Chandler, Cody (and wife Keri) Chandler, Gene (and wife Robin) Posey, Laura Posey, Heath Posey and Kate Posey; and two great grandchildren: Landon Chandler and Grace Chandler.

The Lincoln Parish School Board met in Regular Session on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Parish School Board Central Office, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana. Members present were Ms. Debbie Abrahm, Mr. Otha Anders, Mr. Michael Barmore, Ms. Lisa Best, Mr. Curtis Dowling, Mr. Danny Hancock, Ms. Mattie Harrison, Ms. Lynda Henderson, Mr. Trott Hunt, Mr. Eddie Jones, Mr. George Mack, Jr., and Mr. Joe Mitcham.
No board member was absent.

MINUTES

MINUTES. CITY OF GRAMBLING, GRAMBLING, LOUISIANA. Monthly Meeting February 13, 2014 Mayor Edward R. Jones opened the regular session of the Grambling City Council at 6: 00 p.m. at Grambling City Hall. Mr. William Arrington offered the invocation and led the council and congregation into the Pledge of Allegiance. Present were the following Council members: Birdex Copeland, Jr., Yanise Days, Cathy Holmes, Roy Jackson, and Cullen Jackson. Absent: None. It was moved by Council member Roy Jackson and seconded by Council member Birdex Copeland, Jr. to adopt the Minutes dated January 9, 2014.
