The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and Maximus Operating, Ltd., Agency Interest Number 171348, have entered into a proposed settlement agreement, Settlement Tracking No. SA-AE-13-0053, concerning the State's allegations of environmental violations by Respondent at its facility in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, which allegations are set forth in Notice of Potential Penalty, LDEQ Enforcement Number AE-PP-12-01081.

Willis, Goff unite in matrimony

Photo BY KEVIN BEASLEY- Kimberly Shannon Willis and James Nicholas Goff II, both of Ruston, were united in holy matrimony in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony November 23, 2013, at Creekwood Gardens in Simsboro.

The wedding was officiated by Brother Rocky East of West Lake.

The bride is the daughter of Judy Willis and the late Allen Willis. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Blackwelder Collinsworth, of Arcadia, the late Alfred Willis and the late Jesse Collinsworth, Lillian Youngblood Diffey, of Simsboro and the late Guthrie Diffey.

Plette, Thompson to marry

Mary-Arthur Thompson, of Ruston, and Michael Plette, of Shreveport are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding.

Mary-Arthur is the daughter of Russ and Ann Thompson, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Dickie and Melba Thompson, of Ruston, Linda Boyd, of Ruston and the late John Boyd.

She is a 2010 graduate of Ruston High School and a 2013 graduate of Louisiana Tech University. She graduated magna cum laude in Family Child Studies. She is currently employed at Life Choices of North Central Louisiana.
