The Solid Waste and Recycling Committee of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury met in the Police Jury Meeting Room, Third Floor, Lincoln Parish Courthouse, June 14, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. Present were: Walter Pullen, Chair; Randy Roberson, David Hammons, Jody Backus, and Sharyon Mayfield.
ABSENT: None
Walter Pullen called the meeting to order and delivered the invocation.

Jury Meeting

The Lincoln Parish Police Jury met in special session on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., at its regular meeting place in the Courthouse, Ruston, Louisiana. Present were: Theresa Wyatt, District One; Hazel D. Hunter, District Two; Bobby Bennett, District Three; Randy Roberson, District Four; David Hammons, District Five; Walter Pullen, District Six; Jody Backus; District Seven; Skip Russell, District Eight; Joe Henderson, District Nine; Nancy Wilson, District Ten; Sharyon Mayfield, District Eleven and Annette Straughter, District Twelve.
Absent: None

Public Notice of Precinct and Polling Location Changes
Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 18:535(A), Public Notice is hereby given of the following precinct and polling location changes:
Precinct 6-2, which voted at McLane Recreation Center, is merged with Precinct 6-1, and will vote at Glenview Elementary School.
Precinct 6-3 becomes Precinct 6-2 and will vote at Glenview Elementary School.
Precinct 6-4 becomes Precinct 6-5 and will vote at Glenview Elementary School.
Precinct 6-5 becomes Precinct 6-4 and will vote at Glenview Elementary School.

LPFD #1 MEETING

Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 Board of Commissioners met in regular session, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m., at Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District No.1 Administrative Office, Vienna Station in Dubach, Louisiana, with the following members present:
Richard Aillet, Ray Robinson, Layne Parnell, Mike Fulton, and Bart Dugdale.
Absent: Dennis Byrnes and Richard Durrett.
Invocation was given by Mike Fulton.
A motion was made by Ray Robinson, and seconded by Bart Dugdale, to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried with the following votes:

Pickett, Cameron wed in Mexico

Mr. and Mrs. Cameron to reside in Japan after honeymoon to Belize.

Kelsey Pickett, of Simsboro, and Colby Cameron, of Newbury Park, California, were united in holy matrimony at 6 p.m. July 2 in Las Caletas-Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Chip and Paige Pickett, of Simsboro. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Glenda Reed, of Simsboro, and Jane Pickett and the late Clay Pickett, of Arcadia.
