PROPOSED PART 70 AIR OPERATING PERMIT RENEWAL/MODIFICATION
The LDEQ, Office of Environmental Services, is accepting written comments on a proposed Part 70 air operating permit renewal/modification for Roseburg Forest Products South, LP, 486 Duraflake Road, Simsboro, Louisana 71275 for the Louisiana Particleboard Plant. The facility is located at 486 Duraflake Road in Simsboro, Lincoln Parish.

Simmons, Taylor wed in Choudrant

Shelley Kristen Simmons, of Choudrant, and Mark Keith Taylor Jr., of Ruston, were wedded as one on March 26, 2016 at the Davison Tree Farm in Choudrant.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Reagan Colvin, the groom’s cousin.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Debbie Simmons, of Choudrant.

She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Mae Simmons and the late J.B. Simmons, of Dubach, and Larry and Mary Baker, of Choudrant.

She is the great-granddaughter of Kathleen Baker and the late Davis Baker, of Choudrant.

Allen and MaryBelle Tuten celebrate 50 years of marriage

Allen and MaryBelle Tuten, of Ruston, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Costa Rica. This family event included Maribel and Dan Childress, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Maradith and Ryan Boone, of Baton Rouge; and their seven grandchildren. They were married June 3, 1966. at Trinity United Methodist Church, in Ruston.
