Sealed bids for the following project will be received by the Purchasing Department of the City of Ruston, Louisiana, located at Ruston Public Works Complex, Public Works Administration Building, 701 East Tennessee Avenue, Ruston, Louisiana 71270, either by mail or hand delivery, no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the in the office of the Purchasing Agent. Bids received after the 2:00 P.M. deadline will be returned via certified mail to the bidder unopened.
Haley Elizabeth Scriber, of Ruston, and Drew Michael Hock, of Napoleonville, were united in holy matrimony at 6 p.m. Saturday at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jason Walsworth, of Ruston, and Dr. Max Lee of West Monroe, great uncle of the bride.
The scripture was read by Jennifer Miller, a special friend of the family from Waco, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scriber, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Lee, of Ruston, and Mr. and Mrs. George Scriber, of Ruston.
Natalie Kaye Rabb, of Ruston, and Robert Martin Harris, of Bossier City, were united in holy matrimony at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Creekwood Gardens.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Brian Mercer.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Kaye Rabb, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Nan and Jim Colvin, of Ruston, and the late Ralph and Florence Feazel.
The groom is the son of Steven Harris and Loan Harris, of San Antonio, Texas. He is the grandson of Dale and Nancy Harris, of Seaford, Delaware; Connie Pham, of Houston, Texas; and the late Binh Trung Nguyen.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH BILTMORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City has requested and received bids for improvements identified as Biltmore Street Reconstruction, City Project No. 193 (the “Project”), pursuant to design plans and specifications prepared by Riley Company of Louisiana, Inc., project engineers (“Engineers”); and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with the most responsive, responsible bidder for the Project;
