Sealed bids will be received by the Lincoln Parish School Board, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana, until 9:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud for the following:
4 - 2015 or later year model new conventional school buses and
1 - 2015 or later year model new special education bus
Complete bidding documents may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent of the Lincoln Parish School Board, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana, 71270.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Police Jury of Lincoln Parish until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 at its office in the Courthouse, Ruston, Louisiana, for furnishing:
ITEM ONE: Six (6) each 10 ft. x 60 ft. Railroad Tankcar Culverts
Only proposals submitted on Proposal Forms will be accepted. Proposal Forms and Specifications may be obtained from the office of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury, P.O. Box 979, Ruston, Louisiana 71273-0979. Bids can also be submitted electronically at WWW.CENTRALBIDDING.COM.

THE LINCOLN Parish School Board met in Regular Session on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Parish School Board, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana. Members present were Ms. Debbie Abrahm, Mr. Otha Anders, Mr. Michael Barmore, Ms. Lisa Best, Mr. Danny Hancock, Ms. Mattie Harrison, Ms. Lynda Henderson, Mr. Trott Hunt, Mr. Eddie Jones, Mr. George Mack, Jr., and Mr. Joe Mitcham. Mr. Curtis Dowling was absent.

Regular meeeting

THE VILLAGE of Simsboro met in regular session Monday, December 2, 2013 at 6:15 p.m.
Present were: Mayor Hendricks, Aldermen: Tiffany Cole and Pam Durrett, Alderman Doug Durrett absent. Alderman Pam Durrett voiced the prayer and Mayor Hendricks led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Hendricks presented the agenda. A motion was made by Alderman Pam Durrett and second by Alderman Tiffany Cole to adopt the agenda as presented. Motion passed.
