Roads not safe site for joggers

I can’t for the life of me understand why a person would run on a U.S. highway — or any highway as far as that goes — at night.

Yet this was not the first time that we had witnessed a runner on Ruston’s roads running the risk of becoming road kill. Come rain, sleet or shine, daylight or dark, these fitness fanatics can be seen plodding our roadways, seemingly oblivious to the fact that there are 3,000 pound missiles, often driven by 15-year-old neophytes, sharing those same roadways.
