CITY OF GRAMBLING
STATE OF LOUISIANA
Introduce the following:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAMBLING, LOUISIANA, TO CREATE THE POSITION OF PROPERTY MANAGER / PURCHASING AGENT / WEBSITE COORDINATOR WITHIN THE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF GRAMBLING.
WHEREAS, the City of Grambling is in need of a property manager, purchasing agent and website coordinator; and WHEREAS, an ordinance has been proposed to be adopted by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Grambling; and WHEREAS, to ensure sufficient funds are available for employee salaries and other expenses of the City, the salary of the following employee should be established; WHEREAS, the proposed ordinance must be introduced by its title; and WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held prior to its adoption; and WHEREAS, the title of the proposed ordinance must be published in the official journal and the notice shall provide for the time and place where the Board will consider its adoption. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the following ordinance be and it is hereby adopted by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Grambling: The Board of Aldermen for the City of Grambling hereby create the position of property manager/purchasing agent/ website coordinator within the Administration Department of the City of Grambling. The duties of the property manager/purchasing agent/ website coordinator shall include, but shall not be limited to, managing the City’s equipment, conducting inventory of City equipment, purchasing equipment for the City, and maintaining and updating the City’s website. The position of property manager/purchasing agent/website coordinator shall be a full time position. The property manager/purchasing agent/website coordinator shall be paid $35,000 annually.
