Members of the GSU campus ministry visited New Orleans during the popular Mardi Gras season to help homeless residents of the city as part of their annual Mardi Gras mission retreat opportunity.

The Grambling State Campus Ministry unit offers the opportunity of Leadership and Mission Retreat each year during Transfiguration week, known to others as Mardi Gras break.
