PetSense opened their doors to the public on Saturday.
The new store, located at 1411 Eagle Drive, offers customers a range of pet care products including food, toys and grooming services.
Not only will the store serve as a place for residents to refill on sweet treats for their animal companions, but they are also partnering with local shelters to hold adoptions days each weekend, said Angela Smith, store manager.
Smith said the store had been in the making for more than six months and the franchise chose Ruston because of its community needs.
Congratulations to the newest state champion team at Ruston High School! The Ruston’s Future Farmers of America Dairy Cattle Judging Team won the State Championship at the Louisiana State Dairy Cattle Judging Career Development Event at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on April 13. Members of the state champion team are Keirstyn Sonnier, Hannah Rhodes, Mercedes Fife and Jonathan Craig. Keirstyn Sonnier was also awarded the state’s Overall Highest Individual at the state event.
