Are purse thieves’ motives pure?

If you will remember, my purse was stolen out of my car while I attended the LHSAA’s Top 28 finals in Lafayette last Saturday.

For a moment, I felt somewhat bad for judging them, for assuming that simply because they were thieves, they had nefarious, ulterior motives.

That $300 they attempted to get from the ATM was surely stringently earmarked for the charity of their choice.
