Smith, Rozelle wed at Calvary Baptist

Mallory Rozelle and Seth Smith exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. Malcolm Self and the Rev. Brian Britt officiated the ceremony.

Mallory is the daughter of Tim and Ginger Babcock, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Rozelle, of Winnfield, and the late Paxton and Maxine Wyatt.
Seth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Huey Smith, Jr., of Jena. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Mills, of Trout, Violet Smith, of Jena, and the late Huey Smith, Sr.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin with a side-draped pick-up detail on the skirt and a chapel train. The sweetheart bodice was covered in beaded lace with accented satin buttons down the back. She carried a mixed bouquet of calla lilies.

Emma Bradley, of Ames, Iowa, served as the bride’s matron of honor, while Mille Carroll, of Ruston, served as the maid of honor and Hannah Ray, of Ruston, and Rebekah Ray, of Jackson, Miss., served as bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids wore a knee-length perry blue halter style dress with chiffon fabric gathered at the waist and an attached sash. They carried bouquets of calla lilies and hydrangeas.

Caleb Smith, of Jena, served as the best man for the ceremony, while Huey Smith, Jr., of Jena, Craig Moss, of Ruston, and Brad Turner, of Choudrant, served as groomsmen.
Jake Hayman, of Ruston, Michael Hebert, of Baton Rouge, Cadyn Elliott, of Jena, and Dylan Elliott, of Jena, served as ushers for the ceremony.
Macie Wyatt, of Ruston, served as the flower girl for the ceremony. Paxton Mooney, of Brentwood, Tenn., served as ring bearer.

Other participants in the ceremony were Whitney Self, of Jonesboro, and Ashley Hebert, of Baton Rouge. Wedding coordinators were Robin Hart, Sandra Albritton and Tanya Paul.
Music for the ceremony was provided by soloists Jeannie Shelton and Rebecca Mooney, pianist Trisha Brian and a band including Dennis Smith, Rick Nelson and Joel Soman.

A reception for the ceremony was held at the Calvary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and Tammy Wallace, Amanda Johnson, Stephanie Britt, Peggy Hull and Pat Norris served at the reception. Catering was provided by Donald and Kathy Wallace.

A rehearsal dinner was held Friday night at the home of Craig and Shawn Moss, hosted by Huey and Alisia Smith, parents of the groom.

Several miscellaneous showers were held in the couple’s honor. The first was held on March 12 at Nebo Baptist Church, in Jena, and was hosted by the groom’s family and the ladies of Nebo Baptist Church.

On March 13 at the home on Tanya Paul, a miscellaneous shower was held and Tanya Paul, Tammy Wallace, Amanda Johnson, Melese Colvin and Laurie Colvin hosted the shower.
At the home of Connie Blunt, on March 19, a shower was hosted by the bridesmaids — Emma Bradley, Millie Carroll, Hannah Ray and Rebekah Ray.

A miscellaneous and pantry shower was held at the home of Ginger Babcock on March 26. The shower was hosted by Rebecca Mooney, Diana Parker and Katie Wyatt.

The couple will travel to North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii for their honeymoon. Upon returning from their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Ruston.
