What was this column about?
Yeah, I know, if I lost the equivalent of another person, that would probably ease some of the pain, but nothing I do seems to work. When I exercise, it just seems to make me hungrier. When I diet, I don’t have the energy to exercise.
You might remember that my New Year’s resolution was an attempt at reverse psychology: I’d try to gain weight, and since my stabs at resolutions always failed, then I’d actually lose weight. Guess what?
For the first time in my life, my resolution was a success.
