Son’s clothes fit for a bonfire
Most of you know my son Justin from this weekly column.
The 2000 graduate of West Ouachita High School joined the U.S. Army, went through infantry, airborne and pre-Ranger training at Ft.
Benning, Ga., was assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed to Afghanistan, returned to Ft. Stewart, Ga. and was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division, then deployed to Kuwait where he was on hand when Operation Iraqi Freedom kicked off.
Justin, who at one time considered a career in the military, decided two wars were enough, and instead chose to pursue a civilian career.
