Jackson said one of the problems is that while Iraqi citizens were allowed to vote by satellite throughout the United States for their new leader, people from New Orleans were only allowed to cast ballots for early voting and no satellites will be set up Saturday.

“Voters from Iraq can vote from satellite but New Orleans cannot,” he said. “We protest but we will go vote. Voting rights have not been honored, yet we vote against the odds.”
