Hough, Norred to marry in Quitman
Vernon and Cheryl Hough, of Saline, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Gillian Day Hough, of Saline, to Jacob Norred, of Quitman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marshall and Cloteal Hough, of Saline, Charlotte Crume, of Ruston, and the late Don Crume.
Gillian is a 2007 alumna of Saline High School and graduated from Northwestern State University in 2011 with a degree in elementary education.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Tanya Norred, of Quitman. He is the grandson of Zora Tinsley, of Hodge, the late John Tinsley, Douglas Norred and Gloria Norred.
Jacob is a 2006 alumnus of Quitman High School and graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2011 with a degree in geographic information systems.
The couple plan to marry in a 6 p.m. ceremony on June 25 at Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman.
The couple will reside in Fort Worth, Texas, after they are married while Gillian pursues a master’s degree in Christian education with a concentration in children’s ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
