Submitted photo The owner of this building, located at 414 W. California Ave., is concerned about how the city’s future parking redesign plans might impact his business.

When Ruston aldermen meet on Tuesday, they are expected to consider a request that would bring in a new dance studio.

Robert Flournoy put in an application for a conditional use permit that would allow Darleine Milford to lease 712 square feet of space inside a building Flournoy owns at 414 W. California Ave. The proposed dance studio would be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and offer lessons in various forms of dance. No renovations are reported to be necessary to open the dance studio.
