Motorcyclist arrested for excessive speeding
A Ruston man was jailed this week after a deputy allegedly caught him speeding in excess of 100 miles per hour on a motorcycle.
Billy Paul Moss, 38, of Baxter Road, was released from the Lincoln Parish Detention Center on Sunday on a $1,000 bond.
Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Maj. Stephen Williams said an LPSO unit was parked at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 33 and La. 822 running stationary radar when the motorcycle was spotted.
