Lincoln Parish schools will likely experience changes in the next few years in order to bring them in line with federal desegregation mandates.

The Lincoln Parish School Board has called a special meeting for 1 p.m. Monday in the LPSB Board Room at 410 S. Farmerville St. to discuss strategies for dealing with pending litigation concerning the status of desegregation in parish schools.

The report was filed on the case of “United States of America vs. Lincoln Parish School Board” in May.
