Student’s donation ray of hope
Architecture major Christal Beach will cut her hair in Alexandria on July 13, the day the campaign is urging all of their hometown ambassadors to donate their hair and the day that actress Diane Lane will cut her own hair for the charity on television’s The Today Show.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths is encouraging women and men to grow, cut and donate their healthy hair to make wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
Two of Beach’s grandparents were affected by cancer. She said she was participating in the campaign to make patients feel better about themselves.
