Sewer work continues

City of Ruston Water Utilities Operations Manager Troy Whitman and Riley Company project engineer Bob Myers stop by to look at the progress of JABAR Construction in installing new sewer lines on Park Avenue. Sewer line work on Park Avenue and Monroe Street is expected to wrap up today. On Monday or Tuesday, workers are expected to begin installing new sewer lines on West Mississippi Avenue between Trenton and Monroe streets. Whitman said the street’s eastbound lane will likely be closed for about two weeks, but the contractor will work with the merchants to keep some parking spots open.
