Collie, Lindsay plan fall wedding ceremony
Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Collie, of Ruston, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Jessica Lee Collie, of Ruston, to Timothy Ryan Lindsay, of Weston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edna L. Franklin, of Ruston, the late James L. “Bo” Franklin and Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Lee Collie, of Gilbert. She is a 2002 alumna of Ruston High School and attended Louisiana Tech University. Jessica is employed as a special education paraprofessional at Glen View Elementary and as a pre-k teacher with Temple Baptist Church WEEKday program.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Lindsay Sr. and the grandson of Neita Faye Hawthorne, of West Monroe, the late Doyle Edwin Sandifer, the late Opal Jean Lindsay and the late James Clifton Lindsay. He is a 2004 alumnus of Weston High School. Timothy also graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in 2008 and again with a
masters of computer science in 2011. He is employed with Centurylink in Monroe.
The couple plan to marry in a 4 p.m. ceremony on Nov. 19 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
