While it’s only a preseason prognoistication, fans of the Bulldogs can start getting their hopes up for a postseason appearance if they check out the Aug. 15 edition of Sporting News magazine.

The weekly national publication based in Charlotte, N.C. predicts that Tech will earn an appearance in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

If you’re unfamiliar with that NCAA-approved contest, it’s actually the formerly labeled Humanitarian Bowl.
