How far would you go in the name of love?

That was the question posed in of the most recent books I was reading. Which led me to dwell on the idea of marriage and how it has changed over the years.

Most have heard the statistic that 50 percent of all marriages end in divorce. However that isn’t entirely accurate.

According to divorcerate.org, a resource for providing information on the divorce rate in America and around the world, the divorce rate is actually 41 percent — for first-time marriages.
