McGrath, Harvey plan ceremony
Mr. and Mrs. John McGrath of Haughton, Louisiana and Ms. Lisa Cox of Shreveport, Louisiana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Jennifer Lynne McGrath, to Travis Lyman Harvey, II, son of Mr. John Lyman Harvey and the late Mrs. Laura Parish Harvey of Flora, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Colonel and Mrs. Larry Gene Conkle of Ruston, Louisiana; and Mrs. Sondra McGrath and the late Mr. John Joseph McGrath of Bossier City, Louisiana.
Miss. McGrath is an honor graduate of Ruston High School Class of 2000. In 2003, she graduated cum laude from Louisiana Tech University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. While at Louisiana Tech University, the bride-elect was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Upon graduation, she attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2006.
Miss. McGrath is the owner/managing partner of the McGrath Law Firm, PLLC in Madison, Mississippi.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Helen Winstead Parish and the late Mr. Kenneth Parish of Carson, Mississippi; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Travis Lyman Harvey of Mount Olive, Mississippi.
Mr. Harvey is a 1999 graduate of Madison Ridgeland Academy. In 2009, he graduated cum laude receiving a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Harvey was editor-in-chief of the Right Aisle Review.
He is currently employed at Gray-Daniels Toyota in Brandon, Mississippi.
The couple will exchange vows at Harvey Farms in Flora, Mississippi, on the evening of November 12, 2011.
