Stone said investigation will be done into cause of accident

It appears the worst is over following a recent train derailment in Lincoln Parish.

Residents of the 13 remaining residences who were evacuated will be allowed to go back home, and the hazardous material has been expunged from the scene.

Stephen Williams said. “They started Tuesday morning, and all the hazardous material was removed as of Tuesday night. The tank that contained the hazardous material has been loaded onto four 18-wheelers and hauled off.”
