Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, November 2, 2011 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
Township 19 North, Range 3 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana
Section 28: Commencing at an existing 3/4 inch rebar monumenting the Southeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of Northwest 1/4, per the survey of Virgil T. Collins, Registered Land Surveyor, and run thence North 89 degrees, 21 minutes, 13 seconds West along the South line of said Southeast 1/4 of Northwest 1/4 for a distance of 739.75 feet and to a 5/8 inch rebar set on the West line of an existing 4.00 acre tract presently owned by Joe Aulds, et ux, and to the starting point. From said starting point, run thence North 89 degrees, 21 minutes, 13 seconds West along the South line of said Southeast 1/4 of Northwest 1/4 for a distance of 134.76 feet; thence run North 00 degrees, 49 minutes, 36 seconds East for a distance of 617.57 feet and to a point in the centerline of Lincoln Parish Road No. 87; thence run South 89 degrees, 15 minutes, 20 seconds East along the centerline of said road for a distance of 85.70 feet and to a railroad spike; thence run South 88 degrees, 36 minutes, 09 seconds East along the centerline of said road for a distance of 49.10 feet and to a railroad spike at the Northwest corner of the aforesaid Joe Aulds tract; thence, leaving the centerline of said road, run South 00 degrees, 49 minutes, 36 seconds West along the West line of said Joe Aulds tract for a distance of 616.79 feet, and back to the starting point, containing 1.91 acres, more-or-less; AND Beginning at the Southeast corner of the hereinabove described 1.91 acre parcel and from said point of beginning run thence North 89 degrees, 21 minutes, 13 seconds West along the South line of the said 1.91 acre parcel for a distance of 134.79 feet, and to the Southwest corner of the said 1.91 acre parcel; thence run South 00 degrees, 49 minutes, 36 seconds West for a distance of 28.49 feet and to a point in an existing fence; thence run South 89 degrees, 00 minutes, 03 seconds East along said fence for a distance of 134.79 feet and to a 5/8 inch rebar; thence run North 00 degrees, 49 minutes, 36 seconds East for a distance of 29.32 feet, and back to the starting point, containing 0.09 acre, more-or-less.
Seized as the property of defendant Jeffery R. Simmons, Amanda S. Simmons and The United States of America and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash without benefit of appraisement. This 23rd day of September, 2011.
