Photographs portraying the state's people and landscapes, either submitted or taken by Dean Dablow, director of the School of Art at Louisiana Tech University, are hanging on virtually every wall at LPL.
The majority of photos, drawn from the Library of Congress, were taken in the 1930s and 40s by well-known photographers hired by the Farm Security Administration (FSA) to document the lives of people in rural areas who were struggling through the Great Depression.
