Whether it’s by one point or 18 points, a loss is a loss for Louisiana Tech University’s football team this season.

Going into Saturday night’s Western Athletic Conference-opening game against Hawaii at Joe Aillet Stadium, the Bulldogs (1-4, 0-1) had lost two games by two or fewer points.
Against the Warriors (3-2, 1-0) got whipped by 18 points at 44-26.
