Store raids net four arrests
Search warrants were served at five Ruston businesses early Thursday morning. This was the result of a four-month long investigation into the illegal sale of synthetic marijuana, bath salt items and credit card fraud.
On July 15, 2011, new legislation went into effect making it illegal to sale synthetic drugs in Louisiana. The Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team, LPNET, started making purchases of these exact products on July 16, 2011 from five businesses in Ruston.
