Honor Society helps with Special Olympics
NHS special olympics
Special Olympics of Louisiana held a flag football camp at Cedar Creek’s Cougar Stadium for area Special Olympics athletes. Cedar Creek’s National Honor Society provided volunteer workers to help with each skill station that was staffed by coaches from the area. Each athlete had a personal volunteer coach and cheerleader to help and encourage the athlete. At the conclusion of the camp, the athletes participated in a game of flag football and all the volunteers cheered them on. Everyone had a fantastic time.
