If Ruston High is to defeat West Monroe Friday night, a “trifecta” will have to be in order.

That’s the way Head Coach Billy Laird sizes up the challenge against the No. 6 ranked Class 5A team in Louisiana.

“We will have to play big in all three phases of the game,” he said about meeting the Rebels on their field for a District 2-5A battle. “Offense, defense and special teams.
