The Lincoln Parish Police Jury is expected to be presented with two long-term plans. One would entail renovating and expanding the current Lincoln Parish Courthouse and the other would be to construct a new facility.

The buildings housing parish government include the Police Jury Complex, the Lincoln Parish Courthouse, Courthouse Annex I and II, the old County Market building and the old federal building, which is co-owned by the city of Ruston. Parish Administrator Courtney Hall said parish employees are currently divided among the six buildings, of which the parish is paying utilities, insurance and upkeep.
