Jefferson takes House seat. Bullock, Shadoin to face runoff election.

Lincoln Parish’s two state representative races were the complete opposite of each other on Election Day, with one a landslide victory and the other a runoff, giving the parish and district another month to decide who it wants representing it.

In the District 12 State Representative race, Jason Bullock and Rob Shadoin, of Ruston, and Jacob “Jake” Halley, of Farmerville — all Republicans — faced off, with a runoff scheduled to take place between Bullock and Shadoin after neither gained enough votes to take home the seat outright.
