Candidates speak out on school issues
District 2 incumbent Flynn Ludley identified Adequate Yearly Progress as the biggest challenge for the local system. If a certain amount of progress is not made annually, then it costs the system money, he said.
Ludley named the community as a strong resource from which to draw.
“As part of No Child Left Behind, we must have community involvement,” he said.
Opponent Eddie Milton Jones began his response by repeating the word perception.
