While many families are fighting to support themselves in today’s struggling economy, human’s four-legged friends are also finding it harder to go about their lives.

With the number of pet adoptions down across the nation, stray cats, dogs and other critters are having to fend for themselves, and one Ruston group has been hard at work for six years trying to help get these animals off the streets and into the arms of loving owners.
