NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO SELL IMMOVABLE PROPERTY AT PRIVATE SALE
Notice is hereby given that the Executor of the above numbered and entitled succession has petitioned the court for authority to sell the undivided interest of the decedent in immovable property at private sale and in accordance with the provisions of Article 3281 of the Code of Civil Procedure for SEVENTEEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100THS ($17,750.00) DOLLARS cash with all taxed for 2011 to be prorated. The immovable property proposed to be sold at private sale is described as follows: An undivided one-half (1/2) interest in and to tract described as Beginning at the intersection of Hill Street or Avenue and Lewis Street as constructed (formerly Cedar Street) and run South 60 feet to an iron stob, thence run West to an iron stob a distance of 150 feet, thence run North a distance of 60 feet, thence run East to the starting point, a distance of 150 feet; and An undivided one-fourth (1/4) interest in and to the following: (a) A lot 107 1/2 feet North and South by 56 feet East and West out of the Southwest corner of the following described lot: Beginning at a point 488 feet East and 230 feet South of the Northwest corner of the SW _ of NW _ of Section 19, Township 18 North, Range 2 West, then from this point run South 230 feet, thence run East 188 feet, thence run North 230 feet, thence run West 188 feet to the point of beginning, less a strip on the East side 20 feet wide and a strip on the South side 15 feet wide;
(b) A lot 107 _ feet North and South by 112 feet East and West out of the Southeast corner of the following described lot: Beginning at a point 488 feet East and 230 feet South of the Northwest corner of the SW _ of NW _ of Section 19, Township 18 North, Range 2 West, then from this point run South 230 feet, thence run East 188 feet, thence run North 230 feet, thence run West 188 feet to the point of beginning, less a strip on the East side 20 feet wide and a strip on the South side 15 feet wide;
(c) Beginning at the Northwest corner of the SW _ of NW _ of Section 30, Township 18 North, Range 2 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, and run South to the North bank of Ruston-Chatham Road a distance of 853 feet, thence run East 300 feet, thence run South to the North bank of the Ruston-Chatham Road, thence run North for a distance of 464.67 feet, thence East along the North line of Sutton property to the East line of Lewis Street, a distance of 146 feet for the starting point. From said starting point, run South along the East line of Lewis Street for a distance of 15 feet, thence run East to the West line of Johnson Street, a distance of 229 feet, thence run North along the West line of Johnson Street for a distance of 7.5 feet, thence run North 89 degrees West to the starting point a distance of 229 feet, being one-half (1/2) of the overlap of the property of Robert W. Sutton and Mathew Williams, all in the SW _ of NW _ of Section 30, Township 18 North, Range 2 West.
Any heir or creditor who opposes the proposed sale must file his opposition within seven (7) days from the date on which the last publication of the notice appears. WITNESS THE HONORABLE JUDGES OF THE COURT, this the 4th day of November, 2011.
