Small children are my favorite people. Unlike some adults, they never hold grudges for long. Watch what happens when two of them become involved in a squabble, or a fight. One moment they’re as mad as can be. But, in most cases, give them just 10 minutes to “cool off” and they’ve forgotten the whole thing and are busily occupied in playing together again. Their adult counterparts? Well, almost without exception, we hang onto a grudge, or some perceived insult, as though it was our best friend.
